3rd Annual Community Cat Center Glow Run Artwork Contest

Community Cat Rescue and Adoption Center of Barron County is hosting our third annual Stray Cat Strut 4k and 2k Kitten Krawl Glow Run in October to support our mission to humanely address the outdoor cat population in Barron County through rescue, sterilization, and education. We need your help to create this year’s artwork.

All middle school students in Barron County (grades 5-8) are invited to submit one custom drawing entry.  The 1st place-winning entry will be featured on event posters, materials, and the glow run participant t-shirt.

All entries must meet the following requirements:

Custom Drawing: The drawing must be hand drawn, black and white, and no larger than a standard 8.5x11 size paper. Pencils and markers are acceptable media but please remember, no color. We do a one-color silkscreen in order to be economical.  Original art only. Please no Clip Art.

Include the event name: Stray Cat Strut 4K and 2K Kitten Krawl must appear in the design. In addition, you can place the words “Community Cat” in the design if you wish.

PRINT the artist's name, address, email, school, and phone number on the BACK of the contest entry.

ATTACH the submission form on the BACK of the contest entry. View/Print submission form here.

The winning design becomes a vital part of Community Cat Center’s fundraising and will be featured on all 2024 participant t-shirts, posters, and printed materials. The winning artist will be credited on our website, social media page, and at our glow run in October! We will use first name, last initial, grade, and school name for recognition.

Submissions must be dropped off or mailed to Community Cat Rescue and Adoption Center in Rice Lake by May 3rd. The submission form must be turned in with the entry to be considered.
